The start of a journal page from yesterday’s fishing. No one was catching fish until this guy caught a little panfish causing excitement among the guys. You can see how small it was.😄

Created much excitement
Up and down the shore’

My daughter has a pretty glass fish similar to this and I’ve always been meaning to paint it. And finally did. Haiku:
Just fooling around with color
A glass illusion’
I’ve been having a hard time convincing my husband to go fishing this year and I don’t know why as he loves to fish. The other day he decided it was time so we went down on the pier fishing pole in hand. It wasn’t long before he caught this big ole catfish. Well, until the fish broke the line and left. My husband is once again hooked on fishing. Yea!
While all this catching was going on I was taking pictures knowing I wanted to paint it 😄 I had already written the haiku in my head:
‘Line in the water
Wait! I think I got a bite
Darn! Big ole Catfish!
