2/2/2016 Groundhog Day
Flash back to 1887 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, a groundhog named Phil took over predicting the length of winter from an old German tradition called Candlemas Day where candles predicted it.
If Phil sees his shadow there will be 6 more weeks of winter and if not, Spring is around the corner.
News flash…..he did NOT see his shadow…spring is on the way! WHOOHOO. I’m ready.
